It's quite thrilling to them to be able to find the most affordable ways to do their projects and compare it to what someone else would pay to either buy something similar from a home decorating store or to have a professional do it. And it's even more thrilling for them to share the methods to their madness and get feedback about other's success with those projects. They even do some consulting work on the side for those who lack their own ideas.
